Job Description

The Family Services Administration Officer is responsible for the administration of enrolments, fees, attendance recording and childcare subsidies to ensure exceptional levels of customer service are delivered for both children and their families.

  • Drive people, process and system improvements and efficiencies
  • Workplace health and safety (WHS)

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications: 

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration is desirable.
  • Current Driver’s License and access to a motor vehicle.
  • Working with Children’s Check.
  • Valid Child Safety Training Certification
  • National and/or International Police Check.

Experience:

  • 12 months previous experience in a similar administration role at an Early Childhood Service
  • Experience in education or childcare is essential.
  • Experience using Xplor or other Child Care Management Software System (CCMS), advantageous.
  • Experience using CRM Software (MyWaitlist is desirable).
  • Experience managing a high volume of calls and enquiries.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Child Care Subsidy, Additional Child Care Subsidy as per the Education and Care Services National Law and basic awareness of remaining aspects of the Education and Care Services National Law.
  • Thorough knowledge of enrolment and record keeping Education and Care Services regulations together with basic awareness of remaining Education and Care Services Regulations.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Inclusion Support and Start Strong Guidelines and Funding, including record keeping and acquittal processes.
  • Basic awareness and understanding of the National Quality Standards and the Early Childhood Code of Ethics
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the delivery of a genuinely caring, safe and inclusive environment for children
